Deep in the woods of Kross, in a place that nature has forgotten, a small chapel lies ruined. The ground morphed into pink and purple flesh, laced with veins the flow with tar and sludge. In hallowed existence, the mushy building is an entrance that leads deeper down, into the bowels of the earth. A patch of land cursed in a time past remembering, it pulses along to some invisible rhythm you feel vibrating underneath your feet.

What caused this place to be so no one knows, no one remembers. Perhaps it is the result of a curse, perhaps a blessing from a fate far worse. Deep down in the abyss something calls and beckons, at the bottom, in a warm, comforting void. Great horrors lie ahead, and even greater treasures are waiting in… The Bruisefields.

The Bruisefields are a mega-dungeon which will feature plenty of combat, traps, obstacles, paths that may or may not be traversable depending on player choices. Some can be opened later, others get closed off for good. Preparation is necessary, you might even convince some allies to come along from the surface. Whatever the case - it will be perilous, it will be deadly, not everyone will make it out alive. Those that do… Might end up regretting it.
